Abstract
Industrialization can be described as the tool of Economic Growth and several studies have proved the existence of a relationship between industrialization and economic growth. The industry tends to be more important for growth in developing countries than in advanced economies. The study of present scenario of Industrialization in Mirzapur, hence is of great importance to ascertain the industrial potentiality and to determine the contribution of micro and small-scale industries in the socio-economic development. Association between Type of Enterprise and the variables of Impact of Present Industrialisation Scenario on Socio-Economic Status were studied and the association of same variables were also analysed tehsil wise (Chunar, Marihan, Lalganj & Mirzapur Sadar) in Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh. The present research was based on secondary and primary data. Chi square analysis was used to study the association between the variables.
