Abstract
This study explores the humorous angle of Saul bellow with his famous work Henderson the Rain King. Henderson the Rain King is a unique novel written in 1959 by Saul Bellow. Saul bellow was honored by Nobel and Pulitzer prizes, among other awards, he became as a literary giant. In this novel Saul bellow present a comic character known as Eugene Henderson. He does not take anything and any situation in a serious manner. The protagonist of the novel is one of the richest people; he inherited three million dollars from his ancient people. But he not satisfied with his richness, not fascinated to lead materialistic life, and not like to lead his life with unfulfilled desires. He always disturbs with his heart, saying that “I want, I want I want”. It happens often in his heart.
