Abstract

The researcher examine in his study about the relationship among the variables of service quality, guest satisfaction and loyalty of guests towards hotel. The study reviews a proposed model of service quality and its relationship with guest satisfaction and guest loyalty. Service quality is positively related to satisfaction and guest loyalty too. Similarly, guest’s satisfaction works as mediator between service quality and guest loyalty who stayed in the star hotel. The model is tested empirically with the data from a survey among 600 guests from Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Salem and Madurai who stayed in six star hotels of Kodaikanal. The hypotheses ascertain the fact that service quality and guest loyalty that stayed in the star hotel are positively associated.
