Abstract
Child neglect is a very common type of child abuse which is a pattern of failing to provide for a child's basic needs, whether it be adequate food, clothing, hygiene, or supervision. Child neglect is not always easy to spot. Neglect is the root cause of failure to meet a child's basic needs and is the most general form of child abuse. Research has found that child neglect exposed to abuse, if left unaddressed or ignored, which are at a greater risk for emotional and behavioral problems in future. Neglected children may put up with various behavioral and emotional problems throughout their life. Hence, the Ideal learning measures can be held through Education, Counseling and field work- Social activities.
