Abstract

The Insurance sector plays a very important role in India's economic development. This sector promotes investment activities and act also act as a stabilizer of the financial markets. The challenge in this sector is to manage and implement effective human resource development strategies to improve the performance and accountability of insurance industry. One of the major problems faced by every industry is job satisfaction of the company employees.  Job satisfaction plays a vital element of an employee’s career.  Employees are the assets of an organisation. Ifan employee is happy, he will perform more in his work. If the employee is not happy with his work, he will show less performance. The purpose of this paper is to study the job satisfaction of insurance sector employees. The primary data was collected from 50 respondents through questionnaire from the employees working in insurance companies.
