Abstract
Women play an active role in entrepreneurship today, and the Indian government has taken a lot of initiative to empower women. According to the 6th Economic census released by the Ministry of Statistics, the implementation of programs involves 13.76% of women as owners of entrepreneurship. This reveals India has to take more measures to unlock the potential of women entrepreneurs. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship play an important role in equipping market related skills to make them sufficient in entrepreneurship. There are 18 NSTI for women in India, out of which one is situated at Trivandrum, Kerala.
