Abstract
Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board is a statutory body constituted by the act of 1957, vested with the accountability of organizing along with promoting Khadi and Village Industries in the state. The Board implements the programme all the way through co-operative, registered institutions, individuals and departmental units imparting and availing support from Government of Kerala, Khadi Commission and Nationalised Banks. The foremost object of Khadi and Village Industries Board is to persuade and endorse closer economic growth in rural areas and also to lift up more employment opportunities. This board uses only local raw materials. The present study focuses on the sales pattern of kerala khadi and village Industies over several years that help one to figure out the performance of the firm. So the purpose of this study is to conduct a sales analysis on the basis of which the business can understand its strength and weakness in the market thereby formulating a sales strategy as a corrective measure.
