Abstract

The real fact of human life is comparative. Man lives always comparing with the life of others. It is his moral quality to justify his soul with the benevolent ideas. Literature and art has been evolved in this manner in all cultures. They are the unauthorized psychological truths accepted by the scholarly men. philosophy, painting, sculpting, architecture, religion, politics, literature, language, anthropology, history and so on other fields has been developed in  a comparative manner. The successful country or successful men are those who have learnt merit from others. Literature has been a medium that renders us valuable comparisons to know other culture and the similarities within it. It also shows the working pattern of the human mind and its inner working pattern. Histories help us to know about the attitudes of the man of high social order. Many histories have been written in the form of literary works with high aesthetic sense. They show the characters live in front of us. The heroes of the stories are committed to a certain task of adventure. It relies in front of him as a great challenge, a deadly too but he has to finish it. So, he has to go for a daring journey in attaining it. Hence, comparative literature helps us to know about the varied cultures and the conditions of those times.
