Abstract

Working Capital Problems of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMES) in India. The growth of Indian economy is mainly depended on the promotion of Business Enterprises. Every business needs fund based and non-fund based resources for the enrichment of the business. Funds needed for short terms purposes such as the purchase of raw materials, payment of wages and other day to day operations. The objective of the study is to examine the problems and issues relating to working capital financing of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and some policy recommendations given by the Government of India. MSMEs contribute to 28.90% to India’s Gross Domestic Product (2018-19). The share of MSME in India’s export is at 36 % ( 2018-19). It generates employment opportunity to a tune of 11.09 crore and improves 8000 qualify products (2018-19).
