Abstract

Psychological well being consists of personal mastery, positive relationships with others, feeling of purpose and a meaning in life, autonomy and personal growth and development. The purpose of the research was to scrutinize difference of all psychological well being’s dimensions. The sample of this study was 360 senior secondary students. The ryff scale of 42 items was used for this study. For finding the difference, researcher applied T-test, Anova and tukey test. The result of the study indicate that females have more psychological well-being than males and urban students have more psychological well-being than rural school children. In this study, there is no significant difference in students who are fitting to different type of schools, but private students have more psychological well-being than government and meritorious school students
