Abstract

In the present era, organic food products are vital for the people to maintain a fit life. It is now become an essential part in human life. This research paper, attempts to find out the consumers awareness towards organic food. A sample of 100 respondents were selected from Tiruchirapalli City. The samples so selected have analyzed using simple percentage and chi-square test. It is found that three variables namely there exists any significant association between gender, age, educational qualification, monthly income and consumer awareness towards organic food products of the respondents.
