Abstract

Human resources are the livelihood of all types of an organisation especially IT sector which is technology driven. IT companies are facing high turnover challenge in the current job market. The attrition rate plays a vital role in an organisation. Information Technology companies’ services face a new challenge in retaining employees. They train their employees in digital skills for the future. Finally, the present generation finds their jobs less challenging. In this paper, an attempt has been made to find the how attrition of employees in IT sector affects the health of the Companies and the various factors that influences the attrition, to find out the reasons for the employees to leave the IT companies and to suggest to the IT Companies as to how to retain the employees of the Organisation.
