Abstract
Performance of Small and Medium enterprises is closely linked . Proper performance leads to proper development .Performance of Indian Small and Medium scale enterprise are mentionable in the world’s Small and Medium enterprises. Forth is reason, development of Small and Medium scale enterprises has been priority of government of India and mainly due to its considerable Contribution in economic development ,employment generation ,poverty reduction ,and balanced regional development.
In India Small and Medium scale enterprises have many plus points. They are less capital intensive and absorb more labour .One million Rupees investment generates revenue that is five times the amount of capital and creates new job opportunities. Today, in India, Small and Medium enterprises content to use traditional skills and knowledge. What they need is infusion of new technology, capital, innovative marketing and scientific packaging.
