Abstract

Nowadays the digital media plays an important role in the public election campaign. While social media enable the voters to communicate with political parties and allow them to influence or forced them to vote for them. The political parties are using social media to attract mass coverage. This research paper explained the mass media impact towards the general election campaign, influences and the coverage of media. This paper is to understand the impact of social media on election campaigns in America, Germany and India. A survey was conductedin order to achieve our objectives with 155 respondents. Percentages, cross-tabulation, pie chart, and Chi Square test using SPSS 25.
