Abstract

For the process of examining large data sets big data analytics is used with a variety of data formats
which is telling useful information for making the decisions in business. Human Resource
Management is concerned with major decisions that affect employees. The practice of successful
HRM is critical for some firms to achieve the competitive advantage and in the reality treating
employees as a number one priority which has been the common thread in many of the companies
such as SAS, Google and Southwest. And these values can be provided by using big data analytics,
which is one of the application of advanced analytics techniques on big data.This paper aims to
analyse some of the different analytics methods and tools to be applied in big data, as well as some
opportunities provided by the applications of big data analytics for taking various decision domains.
