Abstract

Entrepreneurship is a global phenomenon and the future of any nation in the world will be driven by innovation and entrepreneurship. Both entrepreneurship and education are considered as main drivers for boosting economic growth of a country. Though the contexts around the world vary dramatically, entrepreneurship education, in its various forms, can equip people to proactively pursue those opportunities available to them based on their environments. The study was conducted to identify the entrepreneurial capabilities among the management graduates of Maris Stella College, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.  The General Enterprising Tendency Test (GETT) which was first developed in1987-1988 by Sally Caird and Mr Cliff Johnson at Durham University Business School with funding from the University Grants Council was used for the purpose of collecting primary data. The test scores revealed that all the management students fell into medium levels of enterprising which means they can be motivated, trained and inculcate entrepreneurial spirit among the students and mould them into future entrepreneurs of our nation.
