Abstract

Process of searching for the potential candidate and encouraging them to apply for a particular job opportunity in the organization is termed as process of Recruitment. On the other hand selection is the process where thecandidates applied for a particular job position areseparated into two categories, first is of those who will be employed and second category is of those who will be rejected. Recruitment and selection are very important human resource management aspects and hence every organization needs comprehend this process for better human resource management. The present paper will examine the process of Recruitment and Selection is at Pacific Industries Limited, Udaipur.  Exploratory research design is used and sampling is done using convenience sampling method. Data is collected from both primary and secondary sources. Data collection is done through telephonic interviews, filling of questionnaires, employment forms, shortlisting of CV’s of candidates and arranging for the joining process of the selected candidates.
