Abstract
Data Science discusses about developing area of work related with the aggregation, research,
exploration, conception, organization and protection of large cognitive of information. Even though the
term Data Science appears to assign maximum domains such as databases and computer science, various
types of expertise comprising non-mathematical talents are also required here. Data Science is not only
just for analyzing data. Most of the persons analyses the data with histograms and average functions, but
for other more complex mathematical and large data, data science gives a series of roles and needs a
variety of skills. Data science contains data analysis as a significant factor of the skill set essential for
many careers in the area. Data scientists perform dynamic roles in the design and execution of work of
four correlated areas like data architecture, data procurement, data exploration and data archiving. In
the current paper the authors will attempt to describe the diverse problems, application and challenges in
area termed Data science.
