Abstract
Peace education is an important system to be brought into the present educational system of nations. It has become the need of the hour to imbue children with core values and strong beliefs in order to create a peaceful living environment for everyone irrespective of differences. This can be attained only through sowing the seeds of real education since childhood, which would undoubtedly lead to a handful of citizens that are advocates of peace, justice and righteousness. Peace building and promoting is not just the duty of the administration and law, but is more than anything, the responsibility of the educators. Educators are the most authentic hands to be entrusted with the responsibility of effectively building up a community of citizens that is capable enough to know the difference between right and wrong, and to function accordingly.
