Abstract

English has rendered itself unavoidable for every individual, culture and society. For decades, it has been a challenging factor for the teachers of English to teach English as a second language (ESL) or as a foreign language (EFL). English is the second language for a majority of its speakers worldwide. There is a rise in demand for attaining English knowledge in every nation. In a multicultural country like India, where different languages are used for communication, teaching and learning English as a second language becomes a more challenging and tiresome job.
