Abstract

The chemical industry is the backbone of India’s industrial and agricultural development. Economic development and environmental protection are often conflicting goals, and it is a great challenge for us to achieve both at the same time to develop sustainably,we facing throughout in the world, the challenges for chemical industry. To address this challenge, Green chemistry is actually central science to many of the environmental issues at the heart of sustainable development. Green Chemistry intends to eliminate the intrinsic hazard itself, rather than focusing on reducing risk by minimizing exposure. This addresses the stake of chemists, stakeholders, and policymakers in everyday practices that are re-inventing chemistry. In order to facilitate this development, it is necessary to have reliable metrics for comparing the greenness and sustainability of competing technologies. Different green chemistry methodologies have been applied to virtually every aspect of industrial activity, much is still needed. Indeed, research efforts over the past decade have evidenced the formidable complexity of designing commercially viable and benign chemical products and processes and expect more advances in             future.
