Abstract
Synthesis of some 2-aminopyrimidine [1a-e] have been synthesized by the condensation of quinoxaline based chalcone with guanidine hydrochloride in ethanol. The structural assignment of the compounds was based on elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR data and mass analysis. All the synthesized compounds have been screened for their antibacterial activity.
