Abstract
The Complex dielectric permittivity measurements in the frequency range 10 MHz - 30 GHz have been carried out for 1,4-Butanediol in Water mixtures using a time domain reflectometry (TDR) method at 250C. Dielectric parameters, i.e. static dielectric constant and relaxation time were obtained from the complex permittivity spectra using nonlinear least square fit method. The contribution of hydrogen bonds to dielectric properties of butanediol-water mixtures has been studied. The Kirkwood correlation factor have also been determined for 1,4-butanediol in water mixtures.
