Abstract

Data on web is based on things that can express interest, sentiments, and opinions of users. Consumer reviews on product based sites also known as e-commerce sites are increasing day by day .These reviews act as feedback to the service providers and have impact on decision of other consumers. Reliability in ecommerce partially depend on reviews expressed by consumers based on their purchase. Researchers found that trust is based on users with similar thinking. Trust is established by observations of similar sentiments. Centre of interest of sentiment analysis is on the analysis and understanding of the emotions from the text patterns. The rise of expressing views on internet in everyday life has increased the interest in sentiment further research. In sentiment analysis it is difficult to predict the human opinions, leading to use of a number of approaches for accurate classification of sentiments. Analysis is important part of decision making .Sentiment analysis objective is to find similarity relationship features of the opinions expressed. Relationship and distance between words is expressed by sentiment similarityanalysis. The aim of this study is to understand various approaches on sentiment analysis.
