Abstract

The Higher Education sector needs to find new structures that demonstrate, we are set in the most effective ways to wrestle real problems. They tend to be offshoots of Department. Open Flexible boundaries, are likely to become increasing important for academics and students as emphasis within universities shifts from structure to cooperation. Everyone is set to benefit; researchers will receive wider inputs ideas and energy and students will gain experience and skills. Freedom from departmental traditions, higher education will spring into new life. This paper highlights the crux of adopting interdisciplinary approach in transforming higher education system towards covering and accelerating scientific innovations, developing critical thinking skills, solving complex real life problems, globalization and growing fluidity in employment.
