Abstract
This paper examines the students interest towards Entrepreneurship among undergraduate students in Kollam district based on a sample survey conducted in 2018.While the study finds a high level of interest, inadequate business knowledge and perceived risk are found to be significant restraints. Besides, three background factors—gender, family experience with business and educational levelare found to affect entrepreneurial interests. Moreover, Government also support entrepreneurs by promoting more awareness by way of successful entrepreneurial role models, removing unnecessary barriers to start-ups…etc.
