Abstract
The present study analyses the condition of regional political parties in India. These parties have their own philosophy, interest and expectations. They highlight the local issue, regional feeling and protection of regional culture. They form government at state level and become a major part in formation of government at central level. Some time they become king maker. They pressurize the central government for fulfilling the regional demands. Their existence grows the beauty of democracy in India but sometime they bring instability in formation of government. The present report highlights different regional political parties in different states of India.
