Abstract

Talented employees contribute to improvise process and operations in an Organisation which in turn will increase the profits and enhance the public image of the Organisation. It is challenging in the first place to procure the right person for the right Job and retain them in the workplace. The employees who have stayed on in the Organisation for a long time will be familiar with the working environment of the Organisation and well versed with the policies, procedures and guidelines of the Organisation. Replacement of productive employees can have a negative impact on the financial position of the Organisation. Hence retaining talented employees has become a challenge faced by the HR departmentĀ  of many organisations today, because of differing expectations of remuneration, employee benefits, work assignments andĀ  growth potential in an Organisation .
