Abstract

In the present world, news is available on your finger tips, quite literally. It is there in the form of sms alerts, WhatsApp pings; one can always browse through the internet, their Facebook feeds, and then there are news channels running 24/7. But despite these threats that are looming large on newspapers, it can be safely said that print media is an institution. Print media provides the kind of optical pleasure that no other media can match. Newspapers have to build on their strength and discover new areas to influence readers, youngsters especially. Newspapers can provide the meaning, context and a better understanding of any event or issue as compared to other media. That is the strength of print media, which can be utilized in the future too.
