Abstract

One Belt One Road (OBOR) is the geopolitical and geoeconomic strategy through which China aims at extending its influence in world. China Pakistan Economic corridor, which passes through Pakistan and reaches to Indian Ocean forms the part of this Strategy. Maritime Silk Road is sea-based component of this strategy. The paper gives the descriptive analysis of this strategy. Though overtly it looks that OBOR has commercial objectives but covertly it has strategic ambitions as well.
