Abstract

The present study aims at finding out the Adjustment of Higher Secondary Students in Relation to their School Environmentof Shopian district (Kashmir Valley). Two inventories were adopted and applied in the study namely (i) Adjustment inventory by A.K.P. Sinha and R.P. Singh and(ii)School Environment Inventory developed by the Investigator himself for collection of the required data. 500 (269) Boys and (231) Girls highersecondary students were randomly selected as the sample of the study. The study reveals that the Adjustment as well as School Environment of Higher Secondary students are satisfactory. Also found that there is a significant difference between Boys and Girls students with respect to their adjustment.
