Abstract

The present study was aimed to identify the functional groups present in leaf extract in ethanol of Rivina humilis L., through Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). The FTIR spectroscopic studies revealed different characteristic peak values with various functional compounds such as primary amines/secondary amines, Alkanes, alkane, aldehyde amino acids, alkane, nitro compounds, Nitro, alcohol, aliphatic amines and alkyl disulfides compounds. The FTIR method was performed on a spectrophotometer system, which is used to detect the characteristic peak values and their functional groups.
