Abstract
The main problem, Indian cities and metropolitan areas are facing toady, is a heavily crowed atmosphere in them. Even if urbanization is an essential component of development, but unplanned urbanization may worsen the quality of life of the people of the productive areas of the country. As the country moves from agricultural or primary stage towards industrial or secondary stage of development, process of urbanization takes place, is the experience of the developed and many developing economies of the word. Unplanned and unsystematic urbanization in any country creates a number of problems for the living beings of the country. It is important to note that the pattern and trends of urbanization in India is improper.
