Abstract
Necrophagus insects are fascinating evidence providers when it comes to criminal investigation when mistry shrouds on assessing time since death. This specific species is attracted to decayed flesh and feaces. The larvae of this species usually feed on earthworms and are generally known as European flesh fly and it under goes full metamorphosis during its life cycle.The settlement of entomological inhabitants are utilized to assess the time of death or the time period amid death and the sighting of corpse. Utilization of entomological inhabitants in deciphering mysterious criminal cases and Entomologists make great contributions to such diverse fields as agriculture, chemistry, biology, human/animal health, molecular science. This study encompasses the detailed facts and circumstantial evidence of the victim from the legal enquiry into the matter of facts and from the relatives and other persons accompanying the corpse.
