Abstract

Privacy is the main right of any individual and in the present Era, digital privacy is predominant. Privacy is one's right which directly means to prohibits the disclosure and misuse of any information concerning the individual. Under this article, it deals with the different positions of data protection law according to the European Union and in India, it is a comparative study between these two countries and it gives information that what is the law in the European Union and what are the loopholes in data protection law in India. This study suggests that what is the grey area's that India should be concern about and to work upon. It provides some data information that gives direction to the law relating to the Data protection framework in various sectors of India.
