Abstract
Women constitute around half of the total world population. The number of women entrepreneurs has grown over a period of time especially in the 1990’s. Nowadays women have started plunding into industry also and running their enterprises successfully. The development of women as entrepreneurs will generate multifaceted socio economic benefit to the country. In this context the study attempts to identify the problem faced by rural entrepreneur. The study is based on primary data collected by administrative questionnaire in by selecting 100 rural entrepreneurs from Kanyakumari.
