Abstract

The study examined on the problems of Primary Education in Manipur (rural areas). Questionnaire method and random selection method is used in conducting this study. The study is confined to the eight schools. It is delimited to data collected through the questionnaires. The analysis of the data was strictly based on the information given by the respondents. Through this study, it is found that number of primary schools lack proper infrastructures and hardly many students attended the school due to household works and lack of encouragement and interest of parents due to economic factors.
