Abstract

Science 2014 big data word is buzz and today it does really play vital role in digital business of retailers in the near future. Though the use of technology is already with online retailers for example use cookies to store data from the shopping cart to obtain evidence about the customer behavior and needs.  Further IP addresses are used and stored to thwart fraud. In future big data will extend various technical functions in very short term. The main aim of big data is to provide customers as an individual and optimized shopping experience in real time.  From the big data analysis it is possible to optimize the shopping process and the communication with their customers in general. Online retailers can improve their business with big data in the various areas.
