Abstract

Training and Development plays a crucial role within the attainment of organizational dreams by integrating the interests of the enterprise and workforce. In the existing conditions, training is the most vital factor within the organization because it increases the competence and effectiveness of both employees and the corporation. The research examines the employees’ expectations from training and development on their agreeableness that influences employees’ performance in organized retail sector. The study was made by collecting the primary data with the help of personnel interviewing technique and by using the structured questionnaire that was distributed to the employees working in organized retail super markets limiting to Bangalore City.  The results conveys that a sturdy linkage exists between the personnel expectations from the training & development programmes and also provides a solid evidences on employees level of agreeableness on training and development programmes. However, the leadership team should endeavor their zeal to educate or train their group of staff to develop new thoughts that will foster enhancing performance resulting in company success.
