Abstract

It is vital in higher education to impart quality education as per the global standards; the key point of the successful educational system is to have a high quality of teaching staff. Therefore, the main part is played by the teachers of the universities in imparting knowledge, developing skills and attitude and at the same time nurturing the new generations. Intellectual and emotional involvement of the teacher’s is very important for them to provide a good quality of teaching. Additionally, the good quality of teaching also dependent on the discretionary efforts which were to put forth but the educationists, their enthusiasm for their job and their willingness and this is the employee engagement. The purpose of the study is to measure the level of engagement of the employee in the B-Schools and the impact of employee engagement on Job performance.
