Abstract
Governance involves the capacity of the government to design, formulate and implement policies which are development oriented and committed to improvement of the quality of life of the society. It refers to the ability of the government and bureaucracy to cope up with emerging challenges of the society. Corruption is a major challenge in the way of good governance.
