Abstract
Heritage tourism gives an opportunity to study the culture, art and history of particular destination. This branch of contemporary tourism makes the visit informative and educative as well. Being a wonderful source of synchronisation and harmony between the various cultures around the globe, heritage tourism is becoming popular among domestic and international tourists at a very fast speed as this form of tourism is being supported by governments of countries also. The present research is focused on tourist satisfaction at some selected sites of Rajasthan which are popular as Heritage tourism destinations. It also scrutinise the main factors of destination which affect satisfaction of tourists.
Rajasthan has been selected purposely for study because of its rich culture and history and being one of the most preferred states for heritage tourism. The on site survey and questionnaire methods at Forts of Jaipur, Chittorgarh and Kumbhalgarh have been used to understand the satisfaction level of tourists.
