Abstract
The paper especially focuses on how the objectification of women starts with family, culture and society – treating a woman as an object. There is a constant imposition of ideas, rules and regulations on her by a patriarchal society and a lot of expectation to maintain a perfect image. Ultimately reducing a woman not just to an object of desire but of view; so much that she is relentlessly scrutinized.
