Abstract

Organizational agility requires development of a flexible and agile workforce that is able to deal with uncertain and rapid changes in the business environment. Global competition, changing customer preferences, innovation, and advancement in technology are some of the forces that require organizations to continuously change and develop. In turn, this fast paced era of changes implies immense pressure on employees to be increasingly adaptable, flexible, and competent of uncertainty in order to perform effectively in new or changing work situations. This study aims to understand the perception of employees towards agility and the relationship between satisfaction and agility. The data was collected from 110 employees working in small manufacturing industries in Malappuram District of Kerala.
