Abstract
Rapid growth in criminal activities and crime rates could be witnessed almost around every corner of the world. It could not be denied that no place left untouched from the hardship of heinous crimes that are being faced globally. Crimes like rape, murder, fraud, forgery and many more are rising at greater pace therefore there is an urgent need to put a halt on these crimes. Although it is near to impossible task to quash criminal activities completely but at least several measures could be taken by the law to enforce appropriate punishment so that it could create fear in people and they would refrain themselves from committing such obnoxious acts.
