Abstract
As per 2011 Census, Indian female population constituted 48.5 percent. The status of Indian women always remains a burning topic. The practices of female infanticide, dowry, child marriage, etc., demean the women’s rank in our society. There have been countless debates about the gender in India over the years including their position, health, education, economic position, gender equality, etc. The most of the discussion related to women stated that women have paradoxical position in our developing country
