Abstract
Women are increasingly making inroads in medicine ,business and law but still to make significant percentage of footprint as scientists and engineers. Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are still struggling due to environmental, social and stereotype barriers. Although gender gap has narrowed as average participation and performance has improved in maths and science. but the transition from school education to higher education is a critical time for girls.
