Abstract

The study aims to find out the difference of teaching competence and job satisfaction among male female teacher educator in western Uttar Pradesh. Role of teacher educator have been recognized for the development of competent teachers for the next generations .Teacher educators can perform their task responsibly if they are competent in themselves to do so. To knowing their teaching competence is required to develop quality trainee teachers for the development of citizens who can work for the building of a prosperous nation. Simple random sampling technique was applied to select 338 teacher educators from western Uttar Pradesh. General teaching competency scale and self developed job satisfaction tool was applied to collect the data. Central tendency and independent‘t’ test statistical procedure as applied to analyze the data at 0.05 level of significance.
