Abstract
Farm Mechanization has been considered as an indispensable asset and an important element of Modernisation of Agriculture. Agricultural Mechanization helps in increasing production, productivity and profitability in agriculture by achieving timeliness in farm operations, reducing unit cost of produce, and competitiveness in the cost of operation.With the advent of Mechanization in Agriculture in the villages of Devi Patan Plain, the farmers especially, the big farmers are inclined more towards the cultivation of crops owing to more profit oriented than the livestock rearing which is generally practiced by the small and marginal farmers.
