Abstract

Language plays a vast role in human life. Without it human being neither thinks nor speaks. It includes any images, signs or symbols by which we understand and communicate our experience of the world. We understand ourselves and our place in the world through language.  Language is necessary for all understanding and interpretation we live and think in language. For Gadamer language is a medium within which we move and understand ourselves and world through various perspectives. Language is necessary for all understanding, interpretation and communication. It establishes a link between the past present, the text and reader, the event and the informer. Gadamer develops his view of the universality of linguisticality. The intention of this paper is to show how language impacts our understanding.
